ATV Tour to Montezuma Waterfall
Backroads, river crossings, three waterfalls and a swim.
Some of the best parts of the Nicoya Peninsula are on dirt roads you can't get to in a rental car. ATV is the right vehicle.
Pickup from Santa Teresa, safety briefing, then you're off through dry forest, past hidden beaches, across two rivers (don't worry — the captain leads), and into Montezuma.
Park the ATVs, hike 20 minutes up the river, and you're at Montezuma's three-tier waterfall. Swim in the pools, jump from the rocks if you're brave, then ride a different route home.
Good to know — Driver must be 18+ with a license. Passenger can be 12+ with parental consent.
