Santa Teresa is one of the most beautiful surf towns in Costa Rica — and one of the hardest to plan a trip to. Most operator websites don't show prices. The aggregator sites upsell you on tours run by strangers. Reviews are spread across Tripadvisor, Viator, and WhatsApp groups.

We built Santa Teresa Book to fix that. One site. Real prices on every listing. Direct line to certified local surf instructors and tour operators we know personally.

We're not a chain. We're not an aggregator. We negotiate with the same local guides who have been running these tours and teaching these waves for years, and we pass you the prices they actually charge — plus a small booking fee that lets us keep the lights on and answer your WhatsApp at 9 PM on a Sunday.

How a booking works

1. You pick a lesson or tour and fill in the form (or message us on WhatsApp — same thing).
2. We confirm availability with the operator and come back to you inside an hour.
3. We send a payment link (card, PayPal, Apple Pay). You can also pay in cash on the day.
4. You meet the local guide at the pickup point. We follow up after to make sure it was great.

What we charge for

Our small booking fee is built into the prices you see — there's nothing added on at checkout, no surprise service charge. We pay the local operator their full rate and keep a margin that lets this site exist.
